Cybersecurity & Systems

“Success and happiness lie in the work most people avoid.”

Bobur Mirzarakhimov, a Computer Engineering and Science student at Sejong University in Seoul, South Korea, currently maintaining a 3.76 / 4.5 GPA. My academic focus spans cybersecurity, computer networks, operating systems, and software engineering, with additional coursework in data analytics.

I am currently working toward CCNA and CompTIA certifications, researching cybersecurity topics, and contributing to open-source projects, while also exploring the fields of network security, penetration testing, and secure software development.

My primary independent project, UzBank Shield, is an open-source phishing detection tool built to protect Uzbekistan's banking and payment ecosystem — verifying domains against the country's official bank and payment registry, inspecting SSL and WHOIS records, scanning payment pages for fraudulent forms, and flagging scam SMS and email messages, fully localized in English, Russian, and Uzbek.

I work comfortably across Python, C, JavaScript, and SQL, with practical experience in Git, Linux, and Tableau — approaching development with an emphasis on tested, documented, and deliberately scoped releases, tracked through GitHub milestones and backed by continuous integration testing.
